Rhythmic Leisure

PROJECT: Visual capsule on Carlos Santana’s history at Woodstock
CLIENT: LaTenaz Magazine

CHALLENGE AND SOLUTION:

Social media posts are now our daily bread, and the algorithm is what filters what we see. We also enjoy scrolling, but we advocate for rhythmic, content-driven leisure; a leisure that is contemplative when the topic warrants it, or alternatively frantic, punk, foul-mouthed, and loud, but always polite and respectful of the audience. In short: we want something to linger with our audience, ensuring the experience is more than just a muscle workout for their flexors and short abductors of the thumb.

The challenge was to build a piece that maintained attention and generated memory. The solution was to develop a brief but intentional audiovisual narrative where rhythm, tone, color, and editing accompany the content. The piece combines a dynamic approach with a closing that adds a layer of meaning, creating an experience beyond immediate consumption.

RESULT:

- Higher retention capacity
- Intentional storytelling
- Content that transcends fast consumption
